Preston, this segment of health care has been incredibly difficult for me to understand. I see many small medical equipment companies around town and often wonder how each survives. Each one sucks at customer service. Each one has terrible processes. After you are done engaging with each entity, you throw your arms up in frustration and wonder what you have actually accomplished.
It can be a wonder. The small companies are usually some form of DME or distributor. Usually not lasting too long. If there are small device companies with potential, they get bought by the big dogs. Talk about consolidation of an industry.
